Mr. Masson's stereotype project was introduced to us a few weeks ago with little knowledge of how or what we were exactly gonna do. We decided to embark on the creation of a series of posters that would be used to show that not everything is as it seems when it comes to stereotypical people in society. When creating this ad campaign, I found that my passion for photography came into great use. I got to take pictures of the subjects for the posters we made for the project. I took on the role as photographer and that made the project a much more personal and interesting thing to me and made me feel much more involved, and I'm sure the same went for other students such as Blake and Kevin, who were well trained in computer software like photoshop.
